Song of the Week #25

Amazingly, this Song of the Week was intended to be an homage to the very first gig this year that I’d booked in. I was looking forward to being one of a select few people at Boom in Leeds who spent Saturday 20th November cracking skulls, giving it large and sinking jars in an all day extravaganza headlined by hardcore heavyweights Knuckledust. Alas, to quote the Rolling Stones, you can’t always get what you want. Instead due to covid complications, the gig got rescheduled for March time, which is extremely gutting.

It does go to show that we’re not in the clear yet with all things Covid-19 related, and so with that in mind, Alex & I are eternally grateful to all you Sinners who have helped us out in these early stages by buying a bottle of gin and pickling your vital organs in the process.

With that in mind then, instead of a healthy dose of British hardcore this week, I’m throwing it back to the 1st song myself and Alex got pumping in the van when we set off to Stoke at 6am that fateful morning in early November to collect our beloved stock. Hopefully it gets your Tuesday up and running! AC/DC - Highway to Hell
