Song of the Week #28

I’m sure most of you will have seen this year’s EE advert with everybody’s favourite phone salesman Kevin Bacon, where he proclaims that he lied about EE having the best iPhone ever, because it’s come to light that the newly released iPhone 13 is the best iPhone ever. In addition, he also lied about EE being the UK’s best network 7 years running, because it’s now 8.

Well, remember back last month when I so boldly proclaimed ahead of time that the best album of the year had already been released, and was Ekulu’s Unscrew My Head? Turns out I lied, its come to light that The Chisel’s new LP Retaliation is the hard hitting punk masterpiece we were all dying to hear. Please god, I beg of you, give this album a listen. And for any of you cool customers based over Leeds way should definitely be looking to catch them January 8th over at Boom, for a spectacular-ass show. (Edit: This is now scheduled for sometime in March, cheers Covid, you little ripper).
